A prime example is the construction of our state’s largest solar park in Wolfhagen, underscoring North Hessen’s reputation as a hotspot for decentralized renewable energy. Another is Archigas, an innovative startup that recently won one of the world’s most coveted industrial awards.

Archigas wins the prestigious HERMES Startup AWARD for its groundbreaking hydrogen sensor technology providing an economical control system for industry, energy systems and environmental protection.

Construction of Hessen’s largest photovoltaic power station is underway in Wolfhagen, which will be an important site for green hydrogen production in the future.

Siemens is investing an additional €100 million in a state-of-the-art facility at its switchgear plant in Frankfurt’s Ostend area, creating 400 new jobs and renewing the company’s commitment to the region.
