Another Global Player for Hattersheim
The new European headquarters of the Japanese group Yaskawa are being built at a cost of 23 million euros on an 8,000 square-metre site in Hattersheim Industrial Park.
Thus, after NTT and Digital Realty, yet another innovative company is coming to the Hessian town, which has developed into an acknowledged location for international groups. A four-storey office building for 220 employees is being built there now, with a car park, innovation centre, training building and showroom, which will be ready in 2022. And all this in the ideal location.
In Yaskawa, a globally active company with a long tradition is moving in, a market leader in robotics, drive and control technology. With annual sales of about 3.8 billion euros, the group has developed from being an engine manufacturer at first, then an automation provider and finally into a specialist for industrial robots, frequency converters and servo engines. The work of 23 European locations, as well as branches in Africa and the Middle East and eight production plants, will all be managed from the European headquarters.
