MLP Group continues to expand its operations in Idstein
The Polish MLP Group is rapidly expanding its investment portfolio in Germany. The company is about to launch another brownfield project - a logistics park near Frankfurt am Main. The post-industrial land plot in Idstein, a former automotive plant, is planned to be converted into a modern 20,000 sqm warehousing facility with additional office space.
The construction will be conforming to a high environmental standard in accordance with the company´s sustainable development strategy, using high quality materials and newest technical procedures. Green energy will be used to generate heat, PV systems will be installed on the roofs of the facilities. During the construction phase, mostly recyclable materials will be used. Working with regional companies and purchasing construction materials from local suppliers will contribute to reducing the project´s carbon footprint. The goal is to achieve the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) certificate in Gold and to address the needs of tenants who are looking for climate-friendly warehousing solutions.
The facility is designed for any use as urban logistics, e-commerce, service providers, and light manufacturing. The logistics park is scheduled for completion and planned to become operational in the first half of 2023.
