Frankfurt and Chengdu partner to elevate German-Chinese financial collaboration
Frankfurt Main Finance seals a significant agreement with Chengdu to strengthen financial ties between Germany and China.
Frankfurt, a pivotal financial center in Germany and Europe, is set to expand its global influence. Frankfurt Main Finance, a financial center initiative with more than 75 members, including the State of Hessen, has announced a new partnership with Chengdu, a growing economic center in Western China with a population of over 20 million.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation between Germany and China in the financial sector. The partners seek to promote Frankfurt as a top global financial hub and boost its financial market activities in Greater China, particularly in the western part of the country. They will also support Chengdu’s development as a leading financial center in Western China.
The partnership will organize joint training sessions, conferences, and other activities.
