In a significant move to support innovation in renewable energy and create jobs, the Groß-Gerau district has officially joined the Rhein-Main-Neckar cluster at the GreenTech Park FLUXUM in Gernsheim. This strategic partnership with ryon GreenTech Accelerator symbolizes the region’s solid commitment to fostering sustainable business and skilled employment opportunities.
ryon GreenTech Accelerator, which offers services around renewable energies, represents a substantial gain for the district. The project aims to attract startups and companies in the GreenTech sector to FLUXUM Gernsheim and further develop the Merck site. This initiative aligns seamlessly with the district’s landscape and its economic aspirations, promising mutual benefits without incurring additional costs to the district.
ryon GreenTech Accelerator is known as the place for startups and young companies in the fields of chemistry, biotechnology, materials science, or engineering. It offers expertise in renewable energy at its location in Gernsheim. The initiative is backed by notable institutions such as Goethe University Frankfurt, TU Darmstadt, Merck, Hessen Trade & Invest (HTAI), and the Economic and Infrastructure Bank Hessen (WI Bank).
